4. Search & create tickets¶
Search and create tickets is an entry point to manually create tickets and customer, but also to have a visibility of the existing tickets for a customer or for an order.
1. Quick create customer¶
Quick create customer :
In CRM -> Search & Create ticket, on the top left you can see a button “Quick create customer”.
This form give you the ability to quickly create a customer, with the minimum information necessary.
This page is very useful if you receive phone calls from customers. You can quickly identity if they have an account, if some tickets exists for them.
If it’s a new customer, you can create very quickly a new account for him. Once it’s created, it will automatically select this account in the grid below and you will be able to create a ticket fro this customer, for example : to take notes of the the phone call’s details.
The goal of this grid is to retrieve an existing ticket or to create a new one.
You can search by customer or by order using the column filters of the grid.
The grid displays you all the orders or each customer, and if some tickets exists for each. You get a little preview of message and and the status of each ticket.
At the end of each customer line, you can find a link to create a new ticket.
It’s one of way in this tool to manually create a ticket. You can also create a new ticket from the customer ticket list the customer admin account. (cf 5.3)
